Position Overview:
We are seeking an organized Engine Shop Coordinator with expertise in the CFM56-3 and JT8D engine families. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating all activities within the engine shop, ensuring efficient workflow, and timely delivery of engine parts/components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations for CFM56-3 and JT8D engines.
- Manage scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow to meet project deadlines.
- Collaborate with quality assurance, and production teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with procurement of parts and materials.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all engine shop activities.
- Conduct regular production meetings, providing accurate updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in engine maintenance and repair, specifically with CFM56-3 and JT8D engines.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with aviation regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
- Proficient in using maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., A&P license) are a plus.
