Job Description: The Jet Engine Mechanic (CFM ENGINE SHOP EXPERIENCED ONLY)
Will be responsible for performing duties as directed and assigned. Personnel assigned maintenance functions shall report to the Director of Maintenance and/or team lead and are specifically responsible for:
- Properly executing duties assigned
- Performing maintenance and alteration tasks on engine parts/modules in accordance with the current technical data provided in manufacturer’s Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Service Bulletins, services letters Airworthiness Directives, government and industry-standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA
- Ensuring that they are thoroughly familiar with all tools and equipment, including inspection aids, used within their assigned area of responsibility
- Properly record the work performed on the appropriate maintenance record

- Power plant license required
- Able to read, write and speak English as this is an FAA requirement
- Own basic set of aircraft maintenance tools as needed to perform maintenance functions
- Strong attention to detail, goal-oriented, and ability to take direction and guidance
- Ability to work flexible hours, overtime, and weekends when required
- Able to perform moderately strenuous physical tasks which include bending, stooping, kneeling, and working overhead for prolonged periods of time
- An energetic self-starter and a positive attitude who works well in a team environment
- Diligent, focused, and proactive team member
- Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States
- This is a safety-sensitive position, and employees will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations
